Dr Marcin Mankowski is a pharmaceutical physician with 15 years experience in clinical development and medical affairs. He graduated from the Medical University in Warsaw, where he worked for several years in pneumonology and infectious diseases departments. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine.

He has substantial experience in driving clinical programmes from early development to product launch and life cycle management in different therapeutic areas. Before joining TranScrip as a Senior Partner, Marcin held several positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he worked as the Director of Clinical Research for Infectious Diseases and also as the European Medical Lead for HIV. He later worked at Chiron Biopharmaceuticals as the Senior Director for Infectious Diseases and General Medicine, responsible for drug development and medical affairs activities in Europe. He was involved in development and registration of several products in the area of infectious diseases, including antibacterials, antifungal and antivirals.

Marcin has broad experience in design and management of clinical studies, preparation of regulatory submissions, interactions with regulatory authorities and key opinion leaders as well as peri-launch and medical affairs activities, including late stage development, medico-marketing strategies, therapeutic area training, etc.
