Daniela has a combined clinical, academic and industry research experience of more than 20 years, of which the last 5 years were spent in Clinical Development leadership roles at Eisai, including Vice President, EU Head Clinical Development, Global Head of Inflammation/Biologics TA. She has had leadership of both projects and departments in all phases of clinical development from Phase I to Phase III, NDA/MAA filing and beyond in various therapeutic areas in large and medium-size companies operating globally in US, EU and Japan. She has undertaken global process improvement, as well as portfolio management and direction of projects' scientific strategy and company policy-making. She is well-versed in innovative use of adaptive design to address multiple immunological indications in the development plan, whilst achieving rapid POC. Her therapeutic expertise encompasses:

• immunology/inflammatory diseases (i.e. RA, SLE, scleroderma), sepsis
• cardio-vascular (i.e. ACS, CAD),
• gastro-intestinal (i.e. IBD/IBS) and urology (overactive bladder)
• neurology (i.e. Parkinson's disease, pain, migraine, neuropathy)
• metabolic diseases
• dermatology (topical and systemic formulations for psoriasis, atopic dermatitis)
